At Amarilla, Leyendas Locales brings a relaxed European-style dining experience to the Terrigal waterfront every Wednesday and Thursday night from 6pm. Think shared plates, good wine, ocean air and long dinners that roll easily into the evening.
Created for locals, date nights, catch-ups and easy nights out, the menu changes weekly and includes tapas entrée to start, your choice of main, plus a complimentary house wine, beer or soft drink with your meal.
Choose from a 2-course menu for $65pp, or add dessert and make it 3 courses for $70pp.
Whether you’re joining us for an early waterfront dinner or settling in for a later sitting European-style, Leyendas Locales is all about slowing things down and making the most of the middle of the week.

Menus change weekly, giving you a new reason to book your mid-week dinner plans by the water. Our full a la carte menu is also available if you prefer something else, or something more for the table.

As the weather cools down on the Central Coast, Leyendas Locales is designed for those cosy mid-week dinners that feel better in winter - good food, wine and a waterfront table out of the cold.
Leyendas Locales was created to make the middle of the week feel worth getting out for. Whether you’re local to Terrigal, visiting the Central Coast for a winter escape, or simply looking for somewhere a little more special for dinner.
Book an early table from 6pm and ease into the evening as the sun disappears over the water, or settle in for a later sitting and let dinner stretch a little longer.
Either way, we’ll take care of the cooking.
A New Menu Every Week
No two weeks of Leyendas Locales will be exactly the same.
Each Wednesday and Thursday, our chefs will create a new menu built around seasonal ingredients, Spanish-inspired flavours in each dish from our Spanish chorizo with its richness and hint of spice to our take on the traditional Spanish Tortilla with mushroom and truffle cream, to one of our many grilled seafood tapas and mains.
There is always the option to upgrade your main to our scotch fillet steak, cooked over charcoal and served with green peppercorn and smoked Créme Fraiche sauce.
Expect rotating tapas, comforting mains and our famous desserts, giving you a new excuse to make Amarilla part of your mid-week routine. While Leyendas Locales is designed to give our Local Legends something to look forward to, everyone is welcome. So please feel welcome to join us if you’re visiting Terrigal from out of town.

Amarilla is located on the waterfront at Terrigal Haven on the Central Coast, NSW. It’s an easy 60-90 minute drive or train north of Sydney, or south of Newcastle making it a great destination dining experience.
