Celebrate with us throughout July
Twelve months ago we opened our doors with a simple vision: to bring relaxed Spanish dining to the Terrigal waterfront. Since then we've welcomed thousands of guests, celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, engagements and long lunches, and we couldn't be more grateful. To say gracias, we're celebrating all month long with special events, new experiences and a few birthday surprises.

CELEBRATING ONE YEAR
Join us for our big birthday party on July 26 from 2-7pm. We will be celebrating with live music, tapas and fresh made traditional Spanish-style paella cooked on the deck with saffron rice, chicken, prawns, mussels, and romesco at $35 per serving.

LONG LUNCH FRIDAYS
A Friday long lunch with Spanish wine tasting? Yes please! When you choose our wine tasting option for your Friday lunch, you get five 50ml servings of a selection of sparkling, white and red wines. We’ve included some of our premium Spanish selections usually reserved for bottle service, so at $30 per person, it’s a great way to find some new favourites.
PAIRED TAPAS
While we don’t have a set menu to accompany the wines, we do offer a suggested tapas pairing for each wine, including a round of Tathra Sydney Rock Oysters served two ways - either freshly shucked natural with lemon, or roasted in pancetta butter.

From 11:30 to 12:30 on Sundays, book Amarilla’s Vermouth Hour. It’s a short 45 minute booking where you can drop in, have a drink and a snack from our special La Hora Del Vermut menu and continue on with your day…
Or book a table to stay for lunch. Be sure to make an additional lunch booking if it’s a long Sunday lunch you’re wanting to spend with us.
WHAT IS VERMOUTH HOUR?
Before lunch, locals across Spain gather for a chilled glass of vermouth, a few simple snacks and good conversation. It’s less about drinking, and more about pressing pause before the day unfolds.
Spanish vermouth is an aromatised, fortified wine infused with botanicals. Compared to many Italian styles, it’s typically brighter, more citrus-forward and slightly sweeter, making it the perfect aperitif to awaken the appetite before a meal.
It isn’t a happy hour.
It’s a way of life.

If we do say so ourselves, Amarilla is THE best place to watch the sun set over Terrigal across the calm waters.
We invite a different local musician every week to help set the mood for seeing out the weekend in style.
